On March 27 the United States Men’s National Team will face Paraguay in an international friendly to try new players and tactics looking forward to don’t fail to qualify -again- for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Interim coach Dave Sarachan called many young players to face the South American side and watch how they perform against a tough, aggressive team like Paraguay.
However, the manager didn’t call any Orlando City players, nor young or experienced, leaving out potential stars as Chris Mueller or Cam Lindley.
The current level of the Lions could have influenced this decision as the team is not having a very good start in this 2018 season. On the other hand, many of the footballers on the list are developing their career outside the MLS and USA, being 15 players from foreign leagues.
However, one of the main young players of USA team such as Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund is not on the list and leaves an open spot for another midfielder.
