The Lions came back to Orlando after two weeks of intense practice in Jacksonville and a win in their first scrimmage of the preseason.
All the available players were present at Lake Sylvan Park to follow head coach Jason Kreis instructions and start preparations for the next Saturday’s exhibition game when they face Minnesota United FC in the first pro match this 2018.
Getting back to work fast is really important to not lose track of the training methods while staying in shape both physically and mentally at the same time. Having a constant practice contributes to reach almost-perfect performances on real matches and that’s what Kreis is looking forward for Orlando City for this next campaign.
However, almost all of yesterdays’s efforts were put on the Orlando City’s Media Day, where all the main personalities of the club were shared with the press and fans. Sacha Kljestan, Justin Meram, Josue Colmán, etc, were all present in at the Stadium to be part of this event designed to spend some time with supporters.
As OrlandoLionsDen previously reported, CEO Alex Leitao and Jason Kreis told the diverse media sectors all the plans for the club and their personal opinions about this upcoming season, on the other hand, they explained some particular situation such as Cyle Larin’s saga and the 10+ signings in this transfer window.
Today the Lions will get back to work to continue developing all the things needed to reach playoff, the title, and an amazing season.
