According to Spanish journal “ABC de Sevilla”, Brazilian international Ganso was in Orlando City’s radar and made offers to get his transfer after Kaká’s departure but no deal was achieved.
On the other hand, Brazilian news page “GloboEsporte” confirmed Orlando City’s intentions with the Brazilian: getting him on-loan for the next season. However, the Lions pulled back their proposals after knowing Ganso’s and Sevilla’s demands. In fact, the Spanish club wanted to sell him definitively and the player wasn’t sure of playing in the Major League Soccer, in addition, he asked for a high salary.
Nevertheless, Josue Colman’s arrival to Orlando City was a main factor to end negotiations with Sevilla and Ganso after the Lions directive decided the young Paraguayan would be a good bet for the future since he plays in the same position as Ganso and is 9 years younger.
The Brazilian midfielder is known for his control and great technique, however, he is not in a good moment at Sevilla after being relegated to the bench by Vicenzo Montella and was not even in the roster for UEFA Champions League (UCL) round of 16.
This season he has played only 8 La Liga matches and scored two twice. In Copa del Rey only 2 appearances and 3 assists. Regarding UCL, he has only been part of one match.
