More and more signings join the Lions in this 2018 offseason which has brought 11 players so far and could be even more if the directive decides to reinforce the defense.
Today Justin Meram met his new teammates in Jacksonville and started to follow Jason Kreis instructions immediately looking forward to accommodate himself into the squad.
In relation to his welcoming to The Pack, Meram told on an interview for SiriusXM FC that “this is the right time to be playing for Orlando”. “Sacha, Dom, Bendik, all messaged me while I was traveling. To hear from some those guys made a smooth transition for me”, he added.
With Meram’s arrival Orlando City has another offensive option on the roster to dominate different aspects on the front line. In fact, his polyvalence as an attacker could be used to implement diverse ideas as he can perform really well as a winger, a striker or as a playmaker.
However, the main premise for the team seems continues to be intensity, control and communication, emphasizing in how to be more precise while facing rival’s goal on the last part of the field.
On the other hand, Oriol Rosell will join the Lions soon so Kreis will have to add him to his scheme quickly and be prepared for the upcoming scrimmages against solid MLS sides after the first exhibition match with Jacksonville University.
Regarding to expectations about Rosell, he is one of the few defensive transfers alongside left-back Mohamed El-Munir for this season, so he might have a huge responsibility as the main reinforce for the backlines.
