According to different media platforms and sport news sites Oriol Rosell A.K.A “Uri Rosell” could join Orlando City’s squad for the next season, leaving Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon.
Rumors locate the 25-year-old Spaniard in FC Dallas’ and Orlando City’s orbit, being the latter the almost-certain destiny for the ex-F.C Barcelona B.
A Bola, a Portuguese sport journal, assures that after weeks of negotiations it’s only matter of hours to confirm his departure to Major League Soccer, where he played for Sporting Kansas City from 2012 to 2014.
Uri Rosell is a defensive midfielder that can play as a center-back as well, meaning he could be a very polyvalent transfer for The Lions. However, he is on-loan in Portimonense at the moment, having played 12 matches this season so far, receiving 2 yellow cards and scoring one goal.
In relation to titles, he achieved MLS Cup back in 2013 with Kansas City, only one year later after winning US Open Cup title. On the other hand, he won a “Copa de Honra” with Sporting Lisbon in 2014.
