According to MLS official site The Lions made an offer to FK Partizan Belgrade to obtain Nemanja Miletic’s services for next season to reinforce Orlando’s defense.
The 26 years-old Serbian international is worth about €1.2 millions and is one of the main players of Partizan Belgrade, which is currently 2nd place on the Serbian SuperLiga behind Red Star. He has played 26 matches this season including UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.
In 62 matches for Partizan in his career he has received 11 yellow cards and not even one red card. In relation to time on the pitch, he has played 5472’ minutes and scored two goals. Regarding assists, he has provided 7 goal-passes, a high amount for a defensive player.
One Serbian SuperLiga and one Serbian Cup it’s what he has achieved so far, nevertheless, he is a key player for the current manager of Partizan, so negotiations could get difficult on the Serbian side.
If the signing is made Miletic would be the second player coming from Partizan Belgrade for the Lions after Mohamed El-Munir.
